A market-leading accountancy and business advisory firm, recognised for its collaborative culture and focus on client success, is looking to appoint a VAT Director with specialised expertise in Real Estate and Construction.

The successful candidate will take on a key leadership role within a top-tier VAT practice, leveraging their proven expertise in delivering complex advisory solutions, building long-term strategic client relationships, and driving growth - particularly within the real estate, infrastructure, and property development sectors.

The Opportunity:

  • Lead and grow a portfolio of clients in the real estate and construction space, providing high-value VAT advisory services.
  • Act as a senior point of contact for clients, delivering insight across property transactions, land & property VAT, option to tax, and capital goods scheme.
  • Work closely with Partners to shape the VAT strategy and offering.
  • Lead and mentor a team of VAT professionals, fostering technical excellence and development.
  • Collaborate across service lines to provide integrated client solutions.

The ideal profile:

  • ACA/CTA or equivalent qualification with significant post-qualified experience.
  • Proven VAT advisory experience, with a focus on real estate, infrastructure, or construction clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholders and lead complex engagements.
  • Commercially minded with strong business development skills.
