The Residential Home provides exceptional care for individuals with severe and enduring mental illnesses. Helping them lead full, dignified and independent lives. The Outreach service offers tailored assistance that fosters independence, dignity and well-being.

  • Hours: up to 37.5 hours per week
  • Pay: £12.27 and increasing to £12.52 after passing probation and obtaining a care certificate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to people in the setting. This may include but is not limited to personal care, meal preparation, administering medication, support out in the community and housekeeping.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with people, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure a safe, compassionate environment.
  • Effective communication both verbally and written.
  • Record and report any changes in the people' needs or conditions.
  • Ensure confidentiality and safeguarding protocols are followed.
  • To treat all colleagues with equal respect regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation
  • To be aware of and to comply with all Encompass policies and procedures.

  • Compassionate, patient, and committed to providing excellent care.
  • A strong team player with good communication skills.
  • Flexible to work a rotation of day shifts, depending on the needs of the service including alternate weekends.
