The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to join a talented brigade in a kitchen that consistently delivers at 3 Rosette standard. Working closely with the Head Chef, you'll take a hands-on leadership role, driving creativity, organisation, and consistency across every service.

Your Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and oversee the team in their absence

• Prepare and cook dishes to 3 Rosette level with precision and consistency

• Manage your section effectively, ensuring readiness, organisation, and quality control

• Contribute to menu development and seasonal innovation

• Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and allergen standards

• Maintain a clean, well-organised work environment and lead by example

• Mentor and develop junior chefs, encouraging continuous learning and progression

• Assist with stock management, ordering, and supplier relationships

About You

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous in a 2–3 Rosette or Michelin Guide-standard kitchen

• Exceptional technical ability and a passion for high-end modern British cuisine

• Calm, confident, and professional under pressure

• Strong communicator and natural team leader with a supportive management style

• Organised and detail-oriented, with pride in presentation and flavour

• Motivated to maintain and enhance the property's outstanding reputation
