About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Officer to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting people and contributing to the smooth running of an organisation that makes a real difference in peoples lives.

As part of our HR team, you will play a key role in providing efficient administrative and HR support across the organisation, ensuring that staff are well supported throughout their employment journey. We are company with 300 + staff and growing all the time.

You will report to the HR Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update staff personnel files and HR databases in line with confidentiality and GDPR requirements.
  • Track and record attendance, absence, and training compliance.
  • Assist with wellbeing, training, and staff engagement initiatives.
  • Support payroll and HR reporting processes as required.
  • Prepare HR correspondence including letters, forms, and reports.
  • Provide administrative support for employee relations, performance reviews, and disciplinary meetings.
  • Respond to general HR queries from staff in a friendly, professional manner.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative or HR support role (experience in health and social care is an advantage).
  • Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with a caring and professional approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR systems.
  • Understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding, and data protection requirements.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and commitment to supporting staff and service quality.
