We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of meals and ingredients, ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards.
  • Support chefs with cooking tasks, including chopping and mixing,
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly after use.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages.

Requirements

  • Previous kitchen experience or culinary training is preferred but not essential.
  • Familiarity with food safety practices and hygiene standards.
  • Experience in meal preparation and food preparation techniques.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced chefs.
  • Good communication skills, enabling effective teamwork within the kitchen.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.30 per hour

Expected hours: 27 per week
