ShowMed is the UK's largest provider of medical care to the events and sports industry with venues across the UK.

We are seeking a Resource Co-Ordinator to join our Operations team at our CQC Registered location in Bolton.

If you have passion for customer service, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, can multitask and prioritise your own workload then this job is for you. This role is about building relationships with our casual workforce, requiring organisational skills and a large amount of communication by telephone.

Responsibilities:

  • To input event requirements onto our company staffing portal with attention to detail, ensuring any amendments are actioned accordingly.
  • To maintain relationships with our customers to ensure streamlined communication relating to event requirements.
  • To build a rapport with the casual medical workforce to ensure all events are resourced to 100% using various forms of communication.
  • To manage the logistics of Ambulance requirements whilst keeping company trackers up to date.
  • To communicate with customers in relation to staff lists and vehicle details where necessary.
  • To keep all Venue Guides and Medical Plans up to date with the current information and uploaded to the relevant portals.
  • To keep your Line Manager abreast of any issues or staff shortages.
  • To seek feedback from new starters relating to their first shift and report any concerns to your Line Manager.
  • To provide administrative support to other departments when necessary.
  • Any other duties as deemed necessary.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work under pressure to tight time constraints.
  • Knowledge of dealing with sensitive information (confidentiality/GDPR).
  • Organisational skills with ability to manage own workload.
  • Ability to work independently as well as being a team player.
  • Use initiative to complete tasks.
  • Willing to assist other departments when required.
  • Attention to details skills.
  • Strong communication both verbally and written.
  • IT Proficiency.

Salary is £24,000 to £26,000 dependent on experience.

Start date – January 2026.
