Assistant Family and Pupil Support Worker

Longfleet CE Primary School

19.5 hours per week/3 days (days to be discussed at interview)

39 weeks, working Term Time and Inset Days

Grade E SCP 7 to 11 (£13.69 to £14.59 per hour)

Actual salary: £11,915 to £13,072 per annum pro rata

Permanent, starting as close to 5 January 2026 as possible

The Assistant Family and Pupil Support Worker will offer early pastoral, behavioural, EaL and SEND interventions, preventative support, guidance and advice to improve outcomes for children, young people and families within a school context, through working in partnership with pupils, families and other agencies. They need to be able to work individually, and as part of the Inclusion and Safeguarding teams, to support the overall Christian vision and values of the school.
