About LRM Security
LRM Security is an SIA Approved Contractor (ACS) delivering professional, compliant, and scalable security solutions across the UK. Our services include static guarding, mobile patrols, key holding and alarm response, event security, and specialist security services.
As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Commercial Director to lead national business development and sales activity.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Company Owner and Managing Director, the Commercial Director will take ownership of all commercial activity, driving sustainable revenue growth through new business wins, tenders, frameworks, and strategic client relationships.
This is a senior, hands-on role suited to a proven commercial leader within the ACS security sector who can build pipeline, convert opportunities, and position the business competitively across public and private sector markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive national business development and revenue growth across the UK
- Build, manage, and convert a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
- Lead tenders, bids, frameworks, and procurement portal activity
- Develop and maintain relationships with director-level clients and key stakeholders
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure successful mobilisation of new contracts
- Represent LRM Security professionally at meetings, presentations, and industry events
- Provide commercial insight and market intelligence to support strategic decision-making
About You
Essential:
- Proven senior-level business development or sales experience within an ACS-approved security environment
- Strong track record of winning new business, including tenders and framework contracts
- Experience engaging with procurement teams and regulated, compliance-driven environments
- Confident communicator, credible at board and director level
