Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring exceptional service is delivered consistently. The ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality, contributing to a positive dining experience. We are looking for candidates with both bar and service experience

Duties

  • Greet and assist guests upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations to enhance the guest experience through upselling.
  • Maintain knowledge of the menu, including food safety standards and culinary offerings, to answer any guest inquiries.
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimise the flow of service.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
  • Handle cash transactions and perform basic maths calculations for billing purposes.
  • Uphold cleanliness and organisation in the front of house area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant/ bar or hospitality environment is essential
  • Strong guest service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
  • Basic understanding of food safety practices is advantageous.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
  • A keen interest in culinary arts is a plus, enhancing your ability to connect with guests about menu items.
  • Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
