Salary: £28,000.00 per annum plus tips

Location: Moorhill House Hotel, Burley, New Forest

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Hours: Full-time, mornings/ early afternoon (5 days per week including weekends)

Start Date: Late November / Early December

About Us:

Moorhill House Hotel is a beautifully restored 35-bedroom country hotel set in the heart of the New Forest. Opening in June 2025, we're passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences from the moment they wake up — and that starts with a great breakfast.

The Role:

We're looking for a confident, reliable and passionate Breakfast Chef to lead our morning kitchen operations. You'll be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality breakfast dishes for our guests, ensuring every plate meets our fresh, seasonal, and locally-inspired standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook breakfast to order (and buffet as needed) to a high standard
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean, safe, and compliant with food hygiene standards
  • Manage stock, deliveries and prep for the next day
  • Support with occasional brunch events or early group bookings
  • Work closely with the Head Chef and FOH team to ensure smooth morning service

Previous experience as a breakfast chef or in a similar role

  • Passion for quality food and presentation
  • Strong time management and ability to work independently
  • A friendly, team-focused attitude
  • Flexibility to work early shifts including weekends and holidays
