Purpose of the Role

To stand out in this ever-growing sector, Mint strives to stay at the forefront of knowledge.

This role exists to
own the Market Pulse
— tracking, analysing, and interpreting developments across the energy transition so our teams and clients stay ahead of market shifts.

By connecting external intelligence with internal performance, you'll become the
fountain of knowledge
within the firm. Your work will equip our consultants with insight, credibility, and confidence whilst shaping Mint's strategic direction and commercial edge.

What We're Looking For

You'll already work within the
energy transition ecosystem
, ideally in a
market intelligence, analytics, research, or data-led role
. You bring curiosity, commercial awareness, and the confidence to have an
instant impact
— quickly understanding our world, identifying what matters, and helping Mint stay two steps ahead.

Key attributes:

• Data-driven, analytical, and precise, with strong attention to detail
• Ambitious, self-motivated, and comfortable leading projects independently
• Naturally curious and efficient, with a proactive mindset
• Genuine interest in renewable energy and the energy transition
• Tech-savvy (Excel, AI tools, data visualisation, or similar)
• Creative with strong writing and communication skills
• Degree preferred but not essential; additional languages a plus

Core Responsibilities

• Market Insight & Intelligence:
  Own the Market Pulse — monitor trends, policy shifts, and company movements; engage with media, clients, and industry bodies to keep our knowledge cutting-edge.
• Knowledge Sharing & Enablement:
  Translate data and developments into meaningful insights, training, and briefings that empower our consultants and strengthen client conversations.
• Systems & Data:
  Build and refine company maps, trackers, and internal tools to ensure our intelligence remains accurate, structured, and actionable.
• Commercial Impact:
  Link insights to performance — identifying opportunities, supporting strategic campaigns, and helping the business stay ahead of the market.

• Data & Reporting:
  Supporting company-wide tracking, analysis, and reporting improvements.
