Full-time, onsite service desk position at our Walsall Wood site.

Hours: Monday–Friday plus every other Saturday morning.

Walsall Wood Tyre & Service is a growing automotive service centre with a strong, respectful team culture. We're looking for a Service Controller with previous experience in a similar service, coordination or automotive front-of-house role . Someone who takes pride in clear communication, confident customer interaction, and keeping information and parts organised so jobs run smoothly. You'll be working front-of-house as part of a friendly, respectful service team, not tucked away in a back office.

What you'll be doing:

You'll be handling incoming enquiries by phone and email, booking jobs and scheduling work efficiently. You'll create and maintain job cards with accurate technician notes, prepare estimates and obtain customer or fleet authorisation. A big part of your day will involve speaking with customers, giving updates on their vehicle, and sourcing and ordering parts as required. You will make sure information flows clearly between customers, technicians and suppliers, and you'll help maintain a smooth, professional front-of-house experience from start to finish.
