**Warehouse Stock Controller**

We are looking to recruit a Warehouse Stock Controller on a permanent basis to join our National Distribution Centre based in the West Midlands (WS2 8DQ).

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm (37.5 hours per week).

**The Role**

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, your role will be responsible for the day-to-day functions of the Stock Control and Warehouse stock accuracy, ensuring that daily tasks are carried out effectively and timely to allow effective operations on site. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and to increase service levels and customer satisfaction to agreed KPI’s through coaching, mentoring, analysing and problem solving.

**Duties include**:

- To liaise with the Site Leadership team to ensure that stock counts, PI, inventory investigations and all other key inventory functions are supported and completed.
- Carrying out physical stock checks as and when required and ensure that all stock anomalies are investigated thoroughly.
- Replenishing pick locations.
- Communicating any stock amendments to the customer in a timely and professional manner.
- Generating pick notes, delivery and post picking documentation accurately and in line with operational time windows.
- Ensuring that all relevant KPI reporting documents are correctly maintained.
- Carrying out other administrative duties accurately and within agreed timescales.
- To ensure that daily incident reports are checked, and any required investigation is undertaken to try and get a resolution.
- Contributing to site stock accuracy through proactive stock management and route cause investigation of stock anomalies.

You will have an understanding of the warehouse stock control process and procedures. Leadership qualifications from within a warehouse environment and an IOSH/NEBOSH qualification would be advantageous. You will have sound knowledge of Health and Safety and hygiene standards within a warehouse environment and the knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency.
