Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to join our vibrant team. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests while overseeing the daily operations of the front of house. Duties

  • Supervise and manage front of house staff, ensuring high standards of service and hospitality are maintained at all times.
  • Oversee food preparation and production processes to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service, ensuring timely delivery and quality presentation of dishes.
  • Train and mentor team members in serving techniques, food safety practices, and customer service excellence.
  • Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest interactions to enhance overall dining experience.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for prompt resolutions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and bar areas.
  • Implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential.
  • Previous supervisory or team management experience is highly desirable.
  • Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is required.
  • Experience in barista duties or hotel operations would be beneficial.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
