Banbridge, Co. Down | Full-time | Permanent

Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual with a passion for finance and customer service and thinking about a career in accountancy.

RGA Accountants, a well-established and growing accountancy firm in Banbridge, is currently seeking an Accountant Technician to join our friendly and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inputting data into Purchase and Sales Ledgers
  • Posting customer payments
  • Performing bank reconciliations
  • Matching purchase orders to invoices and coding appropriately
  • Making journal adjustments
  • Preparing quarterly VAT returns
  • Assisting with Self Assessment tax returns
  • Handling customer queries efficiently and professionally
  • Providing general office support as needed

What We're Looking For:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer use
  • A confident and professional telephone manner
  • Strong organisational skills, especially at busy times like month-end
  • A friendly, team-oriented attitude and willingness to help out when needed

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am – 5:30pm
  • Friday: 9:00am – 2:00pm

Salary:

  • Competitive and negotiable, based on experience
  • Discussed at interview
