The post holder will be responsible for assisting in process control of change management, RFP and Baseline Specs, status accounting governance across the DOA/POA functions within the company for all engineering projects

Responsibilities

  • Support the creation of Configuration data repositories and changing workflows for projects, including control of baselines and generating project metric KPI's
  • Capture data for Status Accounting activities within the "As Designed", "As Planned" and "As Built" stages across the CMP of program milestones for the DOA/POA functions within the business
  • Support the Design NPD Lead on RFP Narratives and Baseline Spec creation
  • Provide support to CM team to develop standard work instructions to ensure the best practices for configuration management
  • Provide knowledge Base support to Configuration Coordinators on Change Management
  • Identify, recommend, and lead required processes improvements with the DOA/POA organisation
  • Provide support to the CM Manager on Internal and external Configuration Audits
  • Assist in EDES/RAC submittals and monitoring to Airbus/Boeing via DOA KPI's
  • Assist in the tracking of Engineering Change Requests for Airbus, Boeing & CAA products which are in service
  • Support and track DOA/POA data transfer within Configuration Management
  • Support the CM on Visual management to the business with DOA

Requirements

Essential

  • Experience in PLM / MRP systems
  • A minimum of 1 years' experience working on RFP narrative and Baseline Specs across all engineering and Sales
  • A minimum of 1 years' experience within a Configuration discipline
  • IT skills especially an excellent understanding of MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in dealing with a wide range of people from various departments.

Desirable

  • Previous experience within the Aerospace industry
  • Experience in the creation of Trim BOM's within PLM systems through DOA
