We're looking for a skilled and motivated IT Technician (Data Manager) to join our dynamic IT team at Mayfield School. This key role is responsible for managing and developing our iSAMS Management Information System, ensuring data integrity and producing insightful reports to support decision-making across the school. Alongside your data management responsibilities, you'll provide frontline IT support to staff and students, helping to maintain the smooth running of our IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, configure, and maintain the iSAMS MIS platform.
- Ensure data accuracy, GDPR compliance, and safeguarding best practice.
- Produce and interpret reports and dashboards to support academic and operational performance.
- Deliver staff training on iSAMS and related systems.
- Contribute to DfE and other statutory data returns.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience with iSAMS or a similar MIS platform.
- Strong understanding of data protection and GDPR.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage your own workload.
Desirable:
- Experience in the education sector and knowledge of the UK independent school system.
- Understanding of school timetabling and assessment data
Hours:
- Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00, 37.5 hours per week
