Dental Trainee Treatment Coordinator and Assistant Manager

N7 Dental care is a 9 surgery mixed practice providing NHS and private care. We are committed to delivering high-quality care and exceptional patient experiences.
We are currently looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a Treatment Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring patients receive seamless care and attention, from initial consultation through treatment completion. You will be replacing our outgoing Treatment Coordinator. We will provide training and courses as needed.
Potential candidate should be willing to undergo dental nurses' training and willing to cover nursing staff and reception should the need arises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate treatment plans and schedules for patients, ensuring efficient flow of services.
- Communicate with patients to explain treatment options, processes, and expectations.
- Liaise with dentists and auxiliary staff to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Manage patient appointments, including rescheduling and cancellations, in an organised and timely manner.
- Address patient concerns and provide guidance on payment and finance options.
- Ensure patients are prepared for upcoming treatments by providing instructions and answering questions.
- Monitor and track treatment progress, updating patients and dental staff accordingly.
- Be able to carryout some admin work such as sorting out invoices, submit staff hours, etc
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in dental nursing, a healthcare setting, particularly in a patient coordination or administrative role, will be an advantage
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and healthcare teams.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is a plus.
- Ability to multitask, handle patient inquiries, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using office software and practice management systems.
