We're looking for a solid all rounder to join our kitchen at The Old Post Office.

We're an independent all-day brunch café and shop in the heart of Guiting Power relaxed, community minded, and big on bold, simple flavours. Our food is fresh, cooked with care, and we're after someone who enjoys that style of cooking.

What the job looks like

  • Prepping and cooking dishes to our recipes and standards.
  • Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and safe.
  • Working closely with the team to keep service running smoothly.
  • Helping with stock checks, rotation and simple ordering.
  • Keeping an eye on quality throughout service.
  • Bringing ideas for specials and menu development.
  • Occasionally helping plate or run food when needed.

What we're looking for

  • Experience in a café, restaurant or similar kitchen.
  • Strong food safety awareness and good hygiene habits.
  • Pride in cleanliness, organisation and prep.
  • Someone calm, reliable and able to prioritise when we're busy.
  • A genuine interest in fresh, simple food.
