We're supporting a leading Managed Service Provider in the search for a
Sales Director
to drive growth, retention, and commercial excellence across a portfolio of key national accounts.
This is a
high-impact leadership
role within a nationally recognised technology business, delivering end-to-end
Managed IT, Cloud

Cybersecurity
solutions. With a strong reputation for innovation, service quality, and a people-first culture, you'll be part of a dynamic leadership team shaping national strategy and accelerating profitable growth.
The Role:
- Take full ownership of Sales performance against both
revenue and gross profit targets
, ensuring scalable, sustainable growth across the client base. - Lead, coach, and develop
a team of
Account Managers
, driving accountability and high performance. - Work closely with your team to create and execute
strategic growth plans
for key accounts—focused on service adoption, client retention, and margin improvement. - Support the development of
profitably structured, high-value proposals
, collaborating with technical and commercial teams to deliver sustainable GP growth. - Act as a
senior point of contact
for strategic client relationships, engaging at C-level to influence business outcomes and strengthen partnerships. - Maintain visibility across all
sales pipelines
, ensuring opportunities are qualified, well-documented, and margin-aware. - Provide accurate
forecasting and performance reporting
to the Chief Commercial Officer. - Identify and execute on
whitespace opportunities
within existing accounts to expand the managed services footprint. - Partner with marketing to design and deliver
national campaigns
that drive growth and client engagement. - Contribute to leadership discussions, sharing insights and aligning best practices to maximise commercial performance.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years' experience in
Sales or Account Leadership
roles within a
Managed Service Provider
or
IT Services
organisation. - Proven success in
driving revenue and gross profit growth
through account development and strategic client management. - Strong understanding of the
MSP portfolio
– including
Microsoft 365
,
Azure
,
Cloud
Infrastructure
,
Cybersecurity
, and
Modern Workplace
solutions. - Commercially astute
with strong financial literacy—comfortable managing pricing, deal structuring, and margin analysis. - Demonstrated ability to
lead and inspire high-performing teams
, fostering accountability and continuous improvement. - Excellent
relationship management and negotiation skills
, with credibility at C-suite and senior IT leadership levels. - Organised and
data-driven
, with experience in CRM discipline, forecasting, and pipeline management. - Hands-on, energetic, and collaborative—capable of balancing strategy with on-the-ground engagement.
