The opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Payments Operations Associate to join us on the exciting and rewarding path we are taking here at Castle Trust Bank. We pride ourselves in being a fintech challenger bank, providing specialist property mortgages, retail finance lending and savings accounts to a variety of customers. 

Working in our Payments Operations team, you will support the team in creating and maintaining payments across each of our business divisions – Savings, Omni and Property. Working as part of a team, you will assist in the timely and accurate processing of payments via Bacs, Faster Payment and cheque, as well as completing internal banking movements within the required timescales whilst maintaining regulatory adherence and meeting Service Level Agreements.

The role will be based in our Basingstoke office, Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30. The role is offered on a fixed-term contract basis for up to 12 months in duration.

What we are looking for in you…

What is important to us is that you have demonstrable experience working within in a payment processing capacity. You will need to have a sound knowledge of Excel and comfortable working at pace.

What is equally important is that you are a team player and a natural problem solver with an inquisitive and logical mind, with the ability to pay meticulous attention to detail.
