As an Account Manager in the Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) division, you'll be the first point of contact for key customers. You'll handle inbound enquiries, source components, provide technical advice, and convert conversations into long-term, loyal partnerships. It's a fast-moving, detail-focused role where your product knowledge, service mindset and organisational skills will directly impact customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
Job Responsibilities
Convert inbound enquiries into orders across multiple channelsProvide technical advice and product support to UK and international customersPrepare accurate, timely quotations based on customer requirementsMaintain regular contact with clients to update on order progress and availabilitySet up part numbers and update stock levels in the internal systemInput and amend sales orders with precision in coding and pricingInvestigate and resolve account queries and customer issuesLiaise closely with purchasing and operations to source parts efficientlyAct as the central point of contact between customers and internal departmentsOwn the customer experience from enquiry through to deliverySkills and Experience
Proven experience in a similar Account Manager, Sales Executive, or Internal Sales Executive roleStrong understanding of MRO or industrial product supply chainsExcellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quicklyConfident handling technical queries and working with product specificationsHighly organised with strong attention to detail and accuracyComfortable using sales order and stock control systemsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced sales environmentClear communication skills, both written and verbalPay and Benefits
