Purpose of the Job
The Senior Manager, Sales Enablement is a high-performing pursuit strategist and delivery expert, responsible for leading the development of complex, high-value, and strategically critical bids that directly impact the company's ambitious growth plans.
This role sits at the heart of our most important commercial opportunities. It ensures every pursuit is executed with strategic rigour, aligned to our sales frameworks, and delivered to the highest standard. Working closely with Chief Client Officers, the VP Client Engagement community and other senior stakeholders, you will lead the orchestration of compelling, client-centric proposals and presentations. Acting as a strategic business partner, shaping winning pursuits and building long-term client partnerships.
Beyond individual pursuits, this role operates at the strategic core of our global Sales Enablement team. The role is responsible for raising the calibre of our pursuit capability, embedding best practices, and championing innovation across the function.
As a senior leader within Sales Enablement, this role will work closely with a supporting team, providing guidance, upskilling, and oversight to ensure operational excellence and drive scaled efficiencies. It will also play a key role in identifying and implementing agentic AI and workflow automation solutions that streamline manual processes, enhance scalability, and enable the team to focus on higher-value strategic work.
This is a role for someone who thrives in high-stakes environments, brings deep expertise in bid strategy and sales enablement / operations, and is ready to shape how we pursue, win, and grow business at scale.
- This role is planned to work on a blended basis from our office in Bishopsgate, London.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and orchestration of high-impact, high-value proposals, presentations, and RFx responses for complex, strategic opportunities
- Translate win strategies into compelling, client-centric written and visual content that reflects deep understanding of client needs and business context
- Coordinate and influence cross-functional teams (Client Engagement, Solutions and subject matter experts) to ensure seamless, high-quality delivery
- Chair kick-off and progress meetings, manage pursuit timelines, and ensure full visibility and accountability across all stakeholders
- Develop solution maps, win themes, and bespoke content that goes beyond compliance to differentiate our offer
- Leverage our Strategic Insights team to create a compelling perspective that is unique to us
- Champion the use of client language, insights, and tone to elevate the quality and relevance of written responses
- Lead in-person and virtual workshops with subject matter experts to refine, align, and elevate bid content
- Oversee the management and evolution of standard content libraries, and promote adoption of self-serve systems across the business
- Design and deliver structured training programs for the global Sales Enablement community
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and quality assurance to support capability uplift across the wider team
- Collaborate with the Marketing Leadership Team to embed best practices, drive consistency, and support the rollout of new initiatives that drive efficiency and competitive advantage through new business processes
- Investigate, pilot, and implement tools and processes that improve pursuit efficiency, collaboration, and scalability
- Explore and apply AI innovations to enhance content creation, bid management, and team productivity
- Champion and drive accuracy of pipeline records and ensure rigorous adherence to right-to-win and success criteria, constructively challenging and supporting Opportunity Leads to ensure the win strategy is clearly articulated from the outset
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
- Exceptional written English and communication skills, with a strong eye for detail and the ability to craft persuasive, client-focused content
- Extensive experience in sales enablement, bid management, or pursuit strategy roles, ideally within global, complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Deep understanding of the outsourced marketing execution industry and its commercial dynamics
- Proven experience leading remote, multi-regional teams and working with offshore support models to deliver high-quality outputs
- Advanced proficiency in CRM systems and sales enablement platforms, with a track record of driving adoption and optimization
- Demonstrated success in introducing new processes, tools, and ways of working to improve pursuit outcomes and team performance
- Strong time management, stakeholder engagement, and commercial acumen, with the ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously
- Comfortable operating in a high-energy, fast-paced environment, with resilience and adaptability under pressure
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of balancing big-picture thinking with executional excellence
- Collaborative, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement, with a growth mindset and a passion for raising standards and driving team capability forward
