Helpdesk Support Technician
Role location – Cambridge, UK / Hybrid working

Then read on The Helpdesk Support Technician plays a vital role in providing IT support to business partners enabling the company to achieve its goals. You will be looked upon to provide solutions to technology challenges as well as educate end users on utilizing available tools to perform their tasks more efficiently.
What to expect:
- IT phone support to stakeholders globally (On rotating basis)
- Computer imaging and troubleshooting
- Technical advice and guidance for Hologic employees
- Hardware procurement, inventory, disposal support
- VIP/Executive support
- Assist with managing standard process/procedures
- Work directly with vendors on installations, upgrades, preventive maintenance
- IT Helpdesk ticket response and closure
- On call – out of regular business hours on a rota basis
What we expect:
- Experience in an IT Help Desk support role
- Windows 10 /11 experience
- Microsoft Office / Office 365
- Laptop and printer hardware knowledge required
- Mobile Device support experience (iOS preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of desktop support tools
- Knowledge of networking principles and troubleshooting client Wi-Fi issues
- Ability to triage, troubleshoot, and resolve PC/Network problems quickly and accurately
- Excellent communication skills, telephone support skills, and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
- ServiceNow experience is desirable but not essential
