POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for overall Freight In/Out, Customs Clearance, Inventory Control, and report maintenance. The role will work closely with Warehouse/ Freight forwarders and European customers to provide stakeholders with regular updates regarding orders and stock availability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

SHIPMENT MANAGEMENT

  • Management of customs documentation facilitating smooth shipment clearance and delivery
  • Processing and maintenance of international orders for intercompany shipments
  • Coordinate logistics solutions for your territories which include UK/EU/Americas
  • Obtaining quotes and provide logistic guidance to business for ad-hoc cross-trade shipments
  • Maintenance of key reports and dashboards which are communicated to the wider business

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

  • Samples requests, GRPO, and landed cost
  • Stock movement monitoring in and out of all warehouses to ensure inventory accuracy

CUSTOMER SUCCESS

  • Customer order entries and custom documents processing Provide excellent customer service for European customers
  • Working closely with the sales team, exceed the customer success of all hotel clients in your regions

STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and motivational spirit with stakeholders
  • Working and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve outcomes and meet deadlines
  • Manage upwards, articulating delays/roadblocks with a solution-focused approach
  • Proactive approach and willing to lean into challenges whilst keeping key stakeholder up to speed

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year experience in customer service based role
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Cross Border Supply Chain role
  • Previous experience managing relationships with freight forwarders and vendors
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of SAP (or other ERP systems)
  • Proficiency in Mandarin, both written and spoken, is preferred but not essential
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Able to build strong relationships with clients
  • Strong communicator to facilitate business partnering
  • Organised and structured in daily duties
  • Confident troubleshooter
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • Focused on continuous improvement
