A DAY IN THE LIFE
You'll be joining the strong L'Oréal UKI Consumer Product Division Supply Planning team, in the key role of Supply Planner.
Your role is anything but ordinary and every day can be different. The Supply Planner role sits at the heart of L'Oréal, with multiple touch points across a wide variety of functions and stakeholders (Marketing, Commercial, Demand Planning, Customer Supply Chain, local and international distribution centres, and international supply chain teams) and would see you responsible for the supply of our iconic brands. Your day - inventory levels and maintaining & updating the planning system. If any upcoming out of stocks have been identified work closely with the Demand Planner and Customer Supply Chain teams to understand the cause. After analysing the potential business impact, you would then be on call with the S&OP team to try and understand how soon we can next get stock; putting in action plans to get it to the UK as soon as possible and aligning the stakeholders needed to do so. The afternoon may see you working on stock reporting identifying risks of excess stock and looking at plans to use and reuse with our L'Oréal for the Future commitments. It could also see you working on developing a new report to simplify processes or implement new ones for the team or the division. Just before the end of your day you might need to align with the DC on incoming inbounds providing priorities for next day to ensure all goes smoothly.
