Visum Recruitment has the pleasure of representing our client in Scotland who are on the lookout for an Area Sales Manager to join their team in Scotland. The Area Sales Manager will be joining the Power Transmission Division and will be focusing on achieving sales targets and profitability as well as promoting and selling the company's products.

The role is field based and involves managing all the territory accounts and sales activities in the designated area to achieve KPIs. There is an expectation that they will visit Ireland approximately eight times a year.

Area Sales Manager Job Overview

  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall profitability within the assigned territory.
  • Manage and grow relationships with End Users, OEMs, and Distributors.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the market.
  • Promote the full range of products, highlighting technical and value-added benefits.
  • Plan and execute customer visits across the territory, maintaining a strong field presence.
  • Provide regular market insights, competitor activity reports, and customer feedback to management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and effective delivery of solutions.

Area Sales Manager Job Requirements

  • A background in Mechanical Power Transmission/ Bearings/ Technical Product Sales Management
  • Experience working with PT product manufacturers, (National) distribution networks, OEMs, End Users
  • Sales – track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets and KPIs
