We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will support the Restaurant Manager in daily operations and help maintain the highest standards of service and hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing daily front-of-house operations to ensure smooth service.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate staff to maintain excellent customer service.
  • Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and service teams for efficient food delivery.
  • Manage table reservations, seating arrangements, and service flow.
  • Support stock control, supplier ordering, and inventory checks.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health and safety standards.
  • Contribute to staff scheduling, performance reviews, and team development.
  • Take an active role during busy periods, weekends, and special events.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant supervisory or management role (experience in Indian or Asian cuisine preferred).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
  • Knowledge of UK food hygiene and safety regulations (Level 2 or 3 certificate desirable).
  • Right to work in the UK.
