Job Overview

We are recruiting for a reliable and enthusiastic Steward to support events at our Playford Road and Bent Lane Training Ground sites.

In this role, you'll help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for players, staff, and visitors, ensuring all activities run smoothly and in line with Club safeguarding and health & safety standards. Working as part of a team and supported by the Training Ground Steward Supervisor, you'll assist across a range of sessions and events, with flexibility required.

This is a full-time position, with hours scheduled across 5 out of 7 days depending on event requirements.

Duties

  • Ensuring you maintain Professional high standards in your work and behaviours.
  • Ensuring all safeguarding related incidents are recorded and reported appropriately and in accordance with safeguarding protocols.
  • Ensuring all health and safety related incidents are recorded and reported appropriately.
  • Ensure the training ground, including pitch areas and changing rooms are maintained and left in a fit and tidy state at the end of each event.

Experience

  • Experience of Operational Organisation.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise, workloads effectively.
  • Must have had supervisor experience before of a small team.
  • Can maintain high standards within the team and hold people to account.
  • Level 2 Stewards Course.
  • Level 3 Supervisors Course.

Desirable

  • Experience of working with the professional football Club Academy environment.
  • Security SIA badges.
