Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Lead and Supervising Steward to oversee all training ground events held at the Playford Road and Bent Lane Training Ground sites on Saturdays and Sundays.
The Lead and Supervising Steward will be responsible for leading and supervising the stewarding team on duty, ensuring all events are managed safely, efficiently, and in line with the Club's safeguarding and health & safety standards. This role will play a key part in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all players, staff, and visitors.
In addition, the postholder will provide cover and support during weekdays in the absence of the Training Ground Steward Supervisor (Full-Time).

Duties
- Ensuring the Stewarding team each evening maintains Professional high standards in their work and behaviours.
- Ensuring all safeguarding related incidents are recorded and reported appropriately and in accordance with safeguarding protocols.
- Ensuring all health and safety related incidents are recorded and reported appropriately.
- Ensure the training ground, including pitch areas and changing rooms are maintained and left in a fit and tidy state at the end of each event.
Experience
- Experience of Operational Organisation.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise, workloads effectively.
- Must have had supervisor experience before of a small team.
- Can maintain high standards within the team and hold people to account.
- Level 2 Stewards Course.
- Level 3 Supervisors Course.
Desirable
- Experience of working with the professional football Club Academy environment.
- Security SIA badges.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
