  • Support departmental action plans, reporting schedules, and tracking key activities.

  • Handle correspondence, drafting responses and ensuring timely communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage email and telephone queries, responding directly or delegating where appropriate.
  • Coordinate travel, accommodation, and expenses in line with Bank policies.
  • Maintain effective office systems, including data management and filing in accordance with GDPR and Bank policies.
  • Assist with Board and Company Secretarial activities, including meeting pack collation, filing papers, and supporting agenda and minute preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with the Bank's regulatory and policy requirements.

About You

You will be a highly capable and confident professional with sound judgement, exceptional organisation skills, and the ability to work proactively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience supporting senior executives, ideally at Board level, in a fast-paced or agile environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • The ability to prioritise competing demands and deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with the confidence to move matters forward independently.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to build relationships across teams and functions.
  • A customer-focused approach and a high standard of professionalism.

What We Offer

We welcome candidates who may not meet all the criteria but believe they can excel in this role. We value diverse experiences and perspectives, and your unique background could be a great addition to our team. We support flexible working and strive to build a fairer, more sustainable, and innovative Scotland.

At the Scottish National Investment Bank, we offer a supportive culture that values your expertise and autonomy, encourages continuous learning, and provides opportunities for meaningful work.
