Warrington WA EW, United Kingdom Acuity Care Group Full time £24,000 - £40,000 per year

Job Introduction

Female Support Worker – Complex Needs (nights)

Location: Warrington

Pay: £ £14.93 per hour

Contract: Full-time / Permanent

Shifts: 20:00pm - 08:00am

Make a Real Difference Every Day

We're offering a meaningful and rewarding opportunity for the right person to join a small, dedicated team supporting an individual living in their family home in Warrington, Cheshire.

This person has complex clinical needs, a communication disorder, autism, epilepsy, and behaviours that can challenge—but none of these define them. What truly stands out is their brilliant sense of humour and love for life. They enjoy activities such as swimming, trampolining, shopping, fun fairs, and visiting churches. To help them get the most out of every day, we're looking for someone who is local to the area, familiar with local amenities, and who holds a full UK driving licence.

About You

We're seeking someone who is not only compassionate and dependable but who also brings experience in:

  • Supporting individuals with autism and complex needs
  • Managing epilepsy and understanding associated health needs
  • Responding to behaviours that challenge with confidence and empathy
  • Promoting mental health and emotional wellbeing

You'll need to be calm, adaptable, and emotionally resilient—someone who listens, understands, and can build a genuine connection.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support a truly unique individual in a complex care setting. The role involves 12-hour night shifts. We're looking for someone who is upbeat, proactive, and full of positive energy. This is a rewarding role that calls for a special kind of person – someone who brings both compassion and resilience to every shift.

What the Role Involves

Working on a 2:1 basis, you'll deliver high-quality, person-centred care in a home and community setting. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting with meaningful daily routines and community outings
  • Encouraging social interaction and emotional wellbeing
  • Assisting with personal care and promoting independence
  • Ensuring a clean, calm and safe home environment
  • Communicating clearly and respectfully in the individual's preferred style
  • Collaborating with the wider team and family to ensure consistent, responsive care

  • LD&A – Learning Disabilities & Autism
  • Bespoke Health & Social Care
  • Team Brain Injury

This role is part of our Bespoke Health & Social Care division, where you'll be supported by an experienced Complex Care Manager and ongoing clinical input. We pride ourselves on being person-centred, responsive, and driven by the belief that everyone deserves the chance to live their life to the fullest.

What's In It For You?

We offer more than just a job – we offer a fulfilling career with development and support every step of the way, including:

  • Access to Westfield Rewards – discounts at 1,000+ high street & online retailers
  • Westfield Health Cash Plan – 24/7 GP access and cashback on healthcare expenses
  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) – mental health, financial & wellbeing support
  • Blue Light Card & exclusive ticket offers
  • Funded NVQs in Health & Social Care
  • Career progression opportunities
  • Ongoing training and development
  • Refer a Friend Bonus – earn up to £500
Ready to Apply?

If you have the relevant experience and a genuine desire to make a difference, please submit your CV today. If you'd like more information before applying, feel free to get in touch—we'd love to hear from you.
