We are seeking a Rehabilitation Support Worker to provide an exceptional service for our client in Widnes. This is a rewarding opportunity to be a part of our clients rehabilitation journey and support our client to achieve as much independence as possible. You will be working closely within a team helping to ensure that a continuity of care is provided to our clients.

About The Role
We are looking for a patient, understanding, and active support worker to support a 18-year-old female. This is a rewarding role where you will support her in developing independence, engaging in the community, and maintaining a structured daily routine. The client is independently mobile but experiences fatigue. She requires guidance and encouragement to engage in activities that support her rehabilitation, including gym attendance. The ideal candidate should be active and willing to participate in physical activities.
She lives in her own rehabilitation property where the staff are supporting her to settle in and live independently, which would require support with daily living tasks. Support will be needed for community outings and activities. The role also involves offering guidance on safe decision-making, as she is a vulnerable adult who may not always recognize risks. Using clear and simple communication to assist with planning and choices will be necessary.
Providing companionship, being a good listener, and offering appropriate advice when needed are important aspects of the role. Supporting her interests, including photography, music (dance and house genres), and beauty treatments (hair, nails, eyelashes), will contribute to her overall happiness and confidence.
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach is required. The ability to provide structure while respecting her boundaries and preferences is key. A full driver's license and access to a vehicle for community outings are necessary. A willingness to engage in physical activities and follow therapy guidance is expected. Experience working with young people with complex needs is beneficial.
