Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and supporting the overall financial health of our organisation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in accounting and proficiency in various accounting software packages. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, reliable, and capable of working independently to ensure all financial data is precise and up-to-date.

Duties

  • Manage and record all financial transactions using recognised accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure all accounts are accurate and balanced
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
  • Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review
  • Assist with payroll processing and related documentation
  • Maintain organised records of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents
  • Support year-end audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
  • Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting processes as required

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar finance role
  • Proficiency with accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Experience with accounts payable management is essential
  • Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in accounting or finance are desirable but not mandatory .
  • Experience of Working with Looker studio .
  • Can do forecasts.
  • Can do Admin work related to running dental practices .
