Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and well - organised Secretarial Administrator to join our friendly team at Holmhurst Medical Centre. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the practice through accurate administration, effective communication, and attention to detail. Confidentiality and professionalism are essential, as you will be handling sensitive patient information on a daily basis.
Main Responsibilities
You will provide a wide range of secretarial and administrative support to the clinical and management team, including:
- letter/report/correspondence processing via transcription
- Creating and managing referrals via email and e-RS
- Liaising with external healthcare agencies, service providers and private/NHS organisations
- Invoicing and PPA claims
- Handling private reports, medicals and payments
- Document processing within SystmOne (including coding)
- Assisting with patient and clinical queries via tasks, emails and other avenues
- Registration, GP2GP record transfers and summarising
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Support colleagues and assist with ad -hoc tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the practice.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 per week
