The ATJ Systems Engineering – Clearance Team
The AJT Systems Engineering Team are part of the wider Typhoon Avionics Systems function. This area comprises several multi-discipline teams, supporting both current and future projects for the Eurofighter Typhoon, working closely with our Customers and Partner Nations.

The Avionics Joint Team (AJT) is a multi-national, collaborative group responsible for Avionics Systems Architecture, Design, and Qualification. Within the AJT, each sub-team operates across different phases of the engineering lifecycle.

This role specifically as a Senior Avionic Systems Engineer resides within the AJT Clearance. Through this role you will support the Clearance team to deliver the qualification and certification of strategic avionic products. This is a key role in supporting the qualification of Typhoon avionic design changes, and you will work closely with the avionics system Safety, System Problem Reports (SPR), and Test Requirements & Analysis (TR&A) teams to release new capability in line with programme demands.

As a senior engineer, you will operate with more autonomy and less supervision, assisting the Group Leader with discharging more of the team duty set, and coaching junior team members. You will also be presented with opportunities across the wider avionics team for future progression.
