Join Our Team as a Senior Systems Engineer Location: Warton (Onsite) Salary: £47,683+ (dependent on skills and experience) What You'll Be Doing: As a Senior Systems Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our innovative projects. Your responsibilities will include: Designing and Building: Create prototypes, products, and systems for testing, leveraging cutting-edge technologies. Validation and Verification: Conduct thorough system and sub-system evaluations, supporting design reviews. Specification and Selection: Define and choose components/interfaces that meet project needs. Control Systems Engineering: Apply best practices to ensure safety, reliability, and performance. Tailoring Practices: Adapt Systems Engineering methodologies to fit specific project requirements. Problem Solving: Address defects and issues promptly, ensuring smooth project progression. Your Skills and Experiences: Essential Qualifications: A degree, HND/HNC, or equivalent experience in a STEM discipline. Strong understanding of Systems Engineering and the Engineering Lifecycle, with experience in integrated platforms involving safety and/or cyber security. Experience collaborating with stakeholders both nationally and internationally. Desirable Qualifications: Experience with complex computing solutions, including systems management, avionics/IMA, systems integration, and safety/cyber security. Familiarity with Object-Oriented design and Model-Based engineering tools and techniques. Understanding of engineering and business processes, with the ability to support performance reporting. As a key team member, you'll collaborate with Edgewing teams to create secure and resilient system designs, working alongside engineers, architects, analysts, and stakeholders to meet technical, operational, and security requirements.
