£47,683+ depending on experience

What You'll Be Doing

• Assurance of clear Technical Requirements from the customer
• Interface with Contract Team's/Technical Managers/Programme Engineering Managers/Chief Engineers Office/Airworthiness
• Assure technical compliance of Aircraft System/ Technical Authority clearance statements
• Coordinate and integrate Weapon System and associated Support Product clearances
• Authoring of Aircraft & Support level clearance documentation

Essential
Your skills and experiences:

• An Engineering background with appropriate qualifications in a relevant STEM subject
• Experience working in, or closely to, a systems engineering environment
• Ability to interface and influence at all levels across several stakeholder organisations
• Ability to operate within highly focused team, providing support to both internal and external stakeholders as required
• Proactive approach to problem solving and collaboration

The Weapon System Engineering (WSE) Qualification and Certification (Q&C) team:
The Weapon System Engineering (WSE) Qualification and Certification (Q&C) team is responsible for all Typhoon Weapon System level qualification and certification activities for the Aircraft and Support Products across Eurofighter/NETMA programmes, Export and UK National activities. The role offers the opportunity to work in an agile environment, where clearances are required to support a continuously evolving product for both Warton based development programmes and in-service capability release. The role is highly visible within the business and as such would be ideal for individuals who are looking to gain experience of dealing with senior stakeholders. The role will cover the through life engineering aspects associated with clearance activities (Aircraft and Support).
