Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a robust business development strategy in alignment with the organisation’s ambitious plans.You’ll bring proven B2B new business expertise in asset finance, a commercial mindset, and the ability to lead from the front in a highly competitive market.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the business and increase profitabilityIdentify and pursue new market opportunities across multiple sectorsTrack market trends, monitor competitors, and inform strategic directionWork cross-functionally to support product development and launchDeliver accurate reporting and sales forecastingDrive local marketing initiatives, including LinkedIn campaignsContribute to shaping business strategy and championing innovationExperience / Skills:Extensive B2B business development experience within the financial services sectorStrong understanding of leasing, credit, and risk, including pricing and P&L awarenessDemonstrable ability to open new markets and build strategic client relationshipsCommercially astute with excellent negotiation and presentation skillsComfortable operating in a fast-paced, agile environmentSkilled in leading by example and holding others to high standardsProficient with MS Office and digital tools to support data-led decision-makingLocation: UK, Thames Valley / South East – Hybrid Excellent Salary, Bonus & BenefitsWe are seeking candidates with in-country experience in asset finance or leasing.
