**Location**: Team Valley (with flexibility for home working)
**Salary**:£19,652
This is a full-time position (37 hours per week) & a fixed term contract of 20 months, with the potential for a permanent position at the end of the contract.

We are recruiting an Apprentice Project Administrator to join our Employability and Careers team based in Gateshead (Team Valley).
The Employability and Careers Business Development team are responsible for identifying and securing new project opportunities for the Employability & Careers directorate of Education Development Trust. The Executive function is responsible for providingadministrative support to the Director and Deputy Directors of Employability and Careers.
The role of Apprentice Project Administrator is to provide efficient and effective administrative support for the Employability & Careers Business Development and Executive function. The role will require liaison with a wide range of stakeholders and therole-holder will be required to support the day-to-day delivery of projects and the wider Executive team. You will also complete a Level 3 apprenticeship in Business Administration alongside your role.

**Knowledge**
**Essential**:
- Minimum GCSE Grade C/4 in Maths and English, or equivalent
**Desirable**:
- Basic understanding of the employability and/or careers sector.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of project management tools and techniques
**Experience**
- May have worked in an office environment (desirable)
**Skills Essential**
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with a wide range of people
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Critical thinking and analysis skills
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
