Project Manager – Water Mains Replacement Programme This is a high-profile Project Manager role, offering career development and a varied working environment. What you'll be doing as a Project Manager
Manage several projects through their life cycle, including commercial management, risk management and associated reporting.
Establish and continuously promote a proactive health, safety, and environment culture across complex and high-risk Project portfolios and our service providers.
Develop and deliver an optimised project to achieve all regulatory, statutory, and internal outputs, deadlines, and targets.
Accountability throughout the project lifecycle, governance compliance, and effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders lead to the smooth transition of project outcomes into operational business.
Actively protecting, managing, and enhancing Thames Water's reputation with external customers and stakeholders.
Development of project briefs, including supplementary information for the project's subsequent early contractor involvement phase.
Managing the project's 'route to consent' strategy, highlighting program and project risks relating to required consents, and considering any potential early works.
Managing and assuring the performance of contractors to deliver project outcomes on time, cost, and quality.
Hybrid basis – 2 to 3 days a week at our Maple Lodge Office, WD3 9SQ and visiting our construction sites.
36 hours Monday to Friday
A background in construction or utilities-based projects.
Understanding of the project's life cycle and how to communicate it to both external and internal stakeholders effectively.
Be knowledgeable on the stage-gate project management process.
Have a strong background in delivering a programme of projects from beginning to end of completion.
Previous water or utilities experience.

Competitive salary from £56,000 to £67,000 per annum.
~26 days holiday per year increasing to 30 with the length of service. (plus bank holidays)
