And we offer you the freedom to be a positive disrupter and turn big ideas into bold, industry-changing realities.For our business, for clients, and for youGlobal Head of Planning & ForecastingLondon, UKDescriptionReporting to the Global Head of Group Reporting in London, this is an excitingopportunity for an experienced finance professional to lead a high calibre 3 personteam and to lead the Apex Group Planning and rolling forecast process following the go-live of a new ERP system.Responsibilities includes:Development of the planning and rolling forecast modelStrategic target setting for the annual planDriving the plan sign-off process with the regionsPreparation of the Group plan or forecast presentationEmphasis is on enhancing the Workday Adaptive Planning model including leveragingforward looking inputs and scenario planning.Strong communication skills are required as reviews are held with the c-suite within theorganisation (CEO and Founder, CFO, COO, etc).The role will collaborate with colleagues within FP&A (e.g. business partners and revenue reporting lead).An excellent knowledge of financials, accounting, analytics and attention to detail is key.Lead the annual plan, plan model development and plan governance processes:Own the end-to-end group planning process, from written instructions, to final board presentationsDevelop strategic financial targets together with the Group Head of FP&A and the Group CEO/CFO/COO/Chief Commercial Officer. Establish mechanisms to ensure that bottom-up plans deliver against the group strategic targetsCreate plan dashboards for executive review, to enure planning gaps / issues are identified early in the processCreate plan dashboards for regional and product line reviews, to ensure that regions and product heads have a good knowledge of their plan, and to ensure that reviews are robust enough to allow for plan sign-offsDesign and prepare the plan board deck together with the Group Head of FP&A and the Group CFO/COO/Chief Commercial OfficerPrepare FX risk analysis and maintain the Plan constant currency reportingPlan sign-off status tracking engaging directly with the regional teamsPrepare the presentation for the annual plan or forecastMaintain the Plan and update for geography changes (e.g. product line changes)Develop driver based modelling for scenario planningExpand current planning model to include full cashflow and balance sheet plansWorking with technical experts, establish integrations to various source systemsMonitor performance of the Planning modelOversee the ongoing maintenance of the Planning modelDevelop the monthly rolling forecast processReview and understand monthly variances to plan, including KPI’s, e.g. OrganicGrowth, Efficiency ScoresDevelop the rolling forecast process, including agreement and sign-off by regional and product line headsProvide insight to businesses on run rates needed to achieve the monthly plan and revised forecastsProvide FX risk analysis and maintain the forecast constant currency reportingAd HocRun ad hoc reporting and analysis for the Group Head of FP&A relating to c-suite queriesSkills RequiredBachelor’s degree in Accounting/FinanceStrong communication and writing skills to support commentary for senior executivesStrong technical skills with experience working with large data setsKnowledge of Workday and Adaptive Planning (group management reporting system) an added advantageAttention to detailsMinimum 10 years Post Qualification experienceDemonstrable Team Player in a Global TeamBuild excellent working relationships with a broad range of stakeholdersMotivate and empower team members by building their capabilitiesEnsure deliverables are produced and reviewed to a high standard and delivered in a timely mannerEncourage a healthy working environment for the teamWhat you will get in returnA genuinely unique opportunity to be part of an expanding large global businessCompetitive remuneration commensurate with skills and experience; Training and development opportunitiesA high level of visibility within a large organisation on an upwards trajectoryBeing part of a high performing team with a strong team cultureDisclaimer: Unsolicited CVs sent to Apex (Talent Acquisition Team or Hiring Managers) by recruitment agencies will not be accepted for this position. xpwpeyx Apex operates a direct sourcing model and where agency assistance is required, the Talent Acquisition team will engage directly with our exclusive recruitment partners.#J-18808-Ljbffr
