An exciting and rewarding opportunity awaits you in Poole GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and empathetic SEND Teacher to join a supportive local school, either from January 2026. About the Role:As a SEND Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, helping them achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment. You will work closely with teaching assistants, other teachers, and parents to deliver tailored learning experiences that inspire and empower every student. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for students with SEND. Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) to support student progress. Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and external agencies. Monitor, assess, and record student progress, adapting strategies as needed. Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure consistent support. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience working with children or young people with SEND is highly desirable. Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. A patient, creative, and resilient approach to teaching. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. To work with GSL Education as a SEND Teacher, you should: Have the right to work in the UK. Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years. Have a DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
