Location: Huntingdon, PE28 0QB Working Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday – Friday 8am – 4.30pm Salary: £28,643.00 per annum + Excellent benefits We are looking for an organised and reliable Administrator to support the day‑to‑day operation of the Vehicle Maintenance Office. In this role, you will work closely with the Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor to ensure smooth office processes, accurate record‑keeping, and compliance across the site. Key Responsibilities Support the Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor with all administrative and operational tasks. Manage Government Vehicle Licence authorisation and tracking. Oversee daily office functions, including opening/closing work orders and maintaining DPAS and Warehouse Module systems (military systems). Handle telephone and walk‑in enquiries in a professional manner. Purchase vehicle parts and consumables for RAF Molesworth, with occasional support to Croughton and Alconbury. Process invoices using the in‑house system (Concur) and keep the purchase tracker updated. Provide administrative backup to the Vehicle Management Administrator at RAF Croughton. Administer vehicle licensing and taxation. Collect and input mileage and fuel data for monthly reporting. Support general contract administration as required by the Vehicle Maintenance Manager or Site Manager. Essential Skills & Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills. Willingness to learn and develop new skills. Competent with Microsoft Office; able to learn military IT systems. Clean driving licence. Good teamwork skills. Confident driving left‑hand‑drive vehicles. Desirable Skills & Experience Experience in a maintenance or motor trade environment. Previous office/administration experience. Knowledge or experience of health and safety processes. Additional Information This role requires the successful candidate to obtain the appropriate Security Clearance and provide satisfactory references.
