Our client, an advisory charity centre based in Huntingdon, is looking for an Administrator to join their team. This is a full time, permanent role based in the office. The role provides a range of administration support to the team providing mental andemotional health services for young people in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

This role is part of a local Partnership to bring together mental and emotional health services for children and young people in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. You will be employed by our client but will work closely with other partners.

The administrator plays a vital role in the delivery of our client’s service. They support clinicians working with young people, and families and professionals accessing our client’s services. Working front line in a very busy environment, the administratorwill join a team committed to delivering an excellent client service.

Responsibilities will include:

- Generating, formatting and sending letters (to young people, referrers, GPs etc.)
- Making (non-clinical) phone calls to young people and parent/carers
- Completing tasks sent to a central admin folder
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing correspondence and relaying accurate information to relevant team members
- Completing administrative actions following triage and assessment on the relevant computer systems
- Processing referrals
- Supporting team managers with administration around contracts, including regular data analysis, reporting and research
- Supporting the wider organisational admin team with any outstanding tasks, including cover for holidays
- Assisting with the review and development of processes and procedures
- Regularly inputting client data into content management systems
- At least two years’ experience working in an administration role
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Ability to work using own initiative with strong problem solving skills
- Significant experience of converting raw data into reports, and of working with databases
- Skilled in the use of Excel, Outlook, Word and other Microsoft programs
- Demonstrable skills in understanding of the importance of confidentiality
- Experience of working with vulnerable young people and understanding of their issues is desirable
- An ability to reflect on professional practice and to proactively seek resources and support for personal development.
