The effective management of growth necessitates the strengthening of the existing finance team. As such the business seeks to recruit a Finance Manager who critically, has the potential to quickly (a matter of months) step up into the Financial Controller role after an initial transitional period. Responsibilities Management and ownership of the month end and periodic reporting processes ensuring the delivery of quality management information Development of the reporting pack, providing insightful information for the senior management team and wider group Implementation of a 12 month rolling forecast Contribution to the budgeting and business planning process Driving efficiencies and improving systems, processes and controls Working closely with and supporting the FC, particularly on addressing operational challenges and considerations. Management, mentoring, training and development of a Finance Assistant Building strong working relationships across the business. Deputising for the FC as required Qualifications A fully qualified accountant (ACMA/ACCA/CA) is ideally sought, although we will consider an exceptional qualified by experience individual. Strong IT skills/savvy are required, as the candidate will play a key role in implementing the group financial reporting requirements. Management reporting background ideally acquired within a sizeable organisation and a sound understanding of business controls. Regardless, the successful candidate's career path should be on an upward trajectory. Key Skills Importantly, the right candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, energy, initiative and the ability to gain an understanding of the operational side of the business in order to prepare meaningful forecasting and analysis. A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced working environment is critical. Additional Information On‑site role. Office doors shut at 5pm.
