We are looking for a supervisor to join the Non‑Residential Campus Cleaning Services team within the Estates Department. The role requires you to work with, organise and lead a team of Cleaning Assistants to provide an effective and efficient cleaning service across the University campus. The role is 32.5 hours per week and you will be contracted to work 5 days over 7 including weekends throughout the year and based on business needs. The regular working hours are 6:00‑1:00 pm. Responsibilities Lead and manage a small team of Cleaning Assistants, ensuring the cleaning service level is delivered. Organise work schedules, allocate tasks and monitor progress to meet service level agreements. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment. Communicate effectively with other supervisors, staff and visitors. Maintain accurate records, reports and provide feedback to the Estates Department. Flexible Working We will consider applications for part‑time or other flexible working basis (e.g. job share), although the position is advertised as full‑time. Work Location The successful applicant will be required to work the majority of their time on campus. About You Experienced in managing a team and possess basic Health and Safety knowledge relevant to the role. Good IT skills – confident with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. Friendly and approachable manner with the ability to attend meetings with other supervisors. Strong team player who works well with others and is keen to provide excellent customer service for students, staff and visitors.
