Providers have their own entry requirements, but for civil engineering roles most expect at least a Grade C in A-level Mathematics and/or a science. Other roles do not require these subjects. Job Description As a paid apprentice you will gain hands‑on experience on real-world projects while completing classroom‑based learning at a reputable college, university or training provider. Opportunities Building Services As a Building Services degree apprentice you will design systems that power, protect, and illuminate spaces for people to thrive. Teams: Electrical Building Services Locations: Cambridge and Bristol Civil Engineering Your role goes beyond designing infrastructure – it’s about creating resilient, sustainable solutions that improve lives. Teams: Buildings, Energy, Transport, Water Locations: Altrincham, Belfast, Birmingham, Brighton, Bristol, Cambridge, Cardiff, Croydon, Exeter, Leeds, London, Reading, Sheffield and Southampton Electro‑Mechanical Engineering Design and deliver infrastructure that moves people and goods safely and sustainably. Team: Transport (Highways) Locations: Norwich and Southampton Environmental Practitioner Support Environmental Impact Assessments, Sustainability Strategies, and Management Plans across sectors. Location: Cambridge Project Management Support project managers in progress tracking, risk management, meeting coordination and documentation. Teams: Buildings, Defence, Transport, Water Locations: Bristol, Cambridge, Cumbria, Leeds, and Manchester Rail Systems Engineering Develop skills to support design, build and maintenance of UK rail infrastructure. Location: Croydon Quantity Surveying Manage budgets, assess risks, and ensure financial integrity throughout project lifecycle. Teams: Buildings, Defence, Transport, Water Locations: Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Cumbria, Leeds, London, Manchester and Reading Join our multi‑sector estimating team: advance in Quantity Surveying while supporting infrastructure projects across sectors.
