You will be leading and developing a busy sales team on a full time, permanent basis.The RoleAs Technical Sales Office Manager your duties will include, but are not limited to:Maximising the sales team to their potential to drive growth and hit sales targetsCreating sales plansImplementing an effective lead generation processBecoming preferred suppliers within new marketsOverseeing special order requirements, reviewing accuracy of figures and ensuring an effective sales process is in place (generation of leads, enquiries and quotations)Preparing and submitting PQQ and tender documentationManaging construction contractsProducing regular reports on revenue and forecastingIdentifying emerging markets and market shiftManaging day-to-day staff matters including absences, performance, coaching and addressing internal issuesThe CandidateA successful Technical Sales Office Manager will possess the following:Experience of leading sales teams, whilst driving strategic growthAn understanding of mechanical engineering (ideally with a mechanical engineering qualification)Commercial awarenessAble to influence at a senior levelExcellent interpersonal skills and a strong communicatorHands on approach with a can-do attitudeExcellent time management and problem solving skillsUK driver's licence (due to occasional site visits)The BenefitsEarly finish on a FridayOption to buy additional annual leaveFree car parkThank you for your interest in this vacancy and good luck with your application.If you have not heard from a member of the Future Prospects team within 7 days from your application, please assume that your application has not been successful on this occasion.
