**Who are we?**

The National Holocaust Centre and Museum sits between Boughton, Ollerton and the village of Laxton. We are a museum open 6 days a week to members of the public and to school groups. Visitors learn about the events of the Holocaust for a contemporary purpose; to enhance critical thinking in this age of social media and fake news. Visitors can explore our two museum exhibitions and beautiful memorial gardens.

We are currently undergoing an exciting period of redevelopment in which our award-winning exhibition The Journey is being redesigned and reopened in January 2025. Summer 2024 saw us finish an exciting AV upgrade of our Pears Auditorium; the upgrade significantly bettered our onsite IT capabilities allowing us to play films in cinema quality broadcasts, record in HD, and livestream. These upgrades are going to help us improve the experience for visitors and reach more people who are unable to physically visit us.

Our museum is built on the long-standing history of recorded and preserved testimonies of Holocaust Survivors whose voices we seek to protect for the future. This testimony is woven throughout all aspects of our exhibitions and educational programs which are delivered via a hybrid approach: onsite, in schools, and online. Our museum exhibitions feature strong integrations of traditional museum text and artefact displays alongside digital and video displays. Futureproofing the technological security of the museum is also important to us. This role will play a key part in understanding and caring for the technological needs across the charity as a whole.
